Joseph P. Coyle, Jr., MBA
Three fields of knowledge are necessary to excel in the deregulated energy space: business, government, and the energy industry. Joe Coyle has deep experience in all three.
As a global client executive for EDS, Joe worked with businesses and governments throughout the Americas, Europe and the Pacific Rim. In the trenches with these businesses, Joe really learned to understand the business drivers. Especially financials. That is why Galt Energy goes beyond simply reducing your price per kWh. We understand the impact that efficiency projects can have on capital expense and budgets. Our approach addresses the total business picture.
While working in the EDS government industry sector, Joe learned how very differently government and businesses run. And even with deregulation, there is still a lot of government involvement. So if you don’t understand how government works, you can’t properly apply its actions to your business. Act 129, PUC orders — good for you if you have an energy broker like Galt Energy who understands their impact on your bottom line.
During his years at PPL, Joe worked exclusively with brokers and suppliers in deregulated states throughout the US. From the inside out, he learned how utilities really work. Deregulation opened huge doors of opportunity for businesses, but you have to know how to recognize them. Galt Energy knows how to find those doors and walk through them with you.
Galt Energy understands innovation — how it works and how to encourage it. Joe co-authored The 5th Quadrant – An Innovation Journey to the Beginning (a guide to business innovation). He and his co-inventors hold a US patent (pending) on tools and methodology for using innovation to drive business growth. His own energy is fueled by new ideas for his customers.
At Galt Energy, we believe strongly in supporting the communities in which we live and work. Joe Coyle serves as an expert adviser to the Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster (GPIC), reviewing innovative, energy related projects. He also serves as a board member for The Children’s Home of Easton and The March of Dimes in PA, and supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley.
